Autumn Front Porch Styling
In most things I tend to be very “fly by the seat of my pants”…for better or for worse. But there are some things that, even if I do them on my own, are special traditions. Being that autumn is my favorite time of year, one of the things I do every year is set out to find a few pumpkins and fall florals for my front porch. I particularly love heirloom pumpkins. Yep, the green, bumpy weird looking ones. They’re my favorite :) This year there was slim pickin’s but I scored a couple beautiful white ones as well as one sage green one I loved.
Ive been looking for a fall wreath for some time now. I could never really land on one I loved and always ended up buying a boxwood wreath from Trader Joes (which I still love). But of course this year Joanna Gaines came through and I found this Hearth and Hand wreath at Target. I really love the muted mustard tone and simplicity of it. In case you haven’t noticed, simple is the way to my heart. I love that this is an investment so I can pack it away and pull it out for years to come. This wreath would be beautiful indoors too; over a mirror, entryway table, etc…
I had intended to get a fall themed front entry mat but honestly this one just made me smile. Its how I feel every time I drive up to my house and thats just the best feeling. The deep breath, exhale, ahhhhh. home sweet home. :)
I love sprucing up my front porch for the different seasons. What are some fall touches you added to your entryway?! Do tell!
